Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 August 2026

These terms cover your use of Clerk — this website, getcomputeruse.com, and the desktop application that goes with it (together, "the Service"). Using the Service means you accept these terms.

1. Who provides the Service

The Service is provided by Computeruse, a sole proprietorship registered in Hong Kong (Business Registration No. 41702790). Contact: [email protected].

2. What the Service is

Clerk is a computer-use agent driven by a large language model. You describe a task in ordinary language and the application carries it out on your own computer: moving the mouse, clicking, typing, capturing the screen, reading what is on it, and running other programs already installed on your machine.

Please be clear about this: the Service really does operate your computer, and it can do things that cannot be undone — deleting files, sending messages, submitting forms, making payments. Language models make mistakes and can misread what you meant. Run the Service only on a machine where you are willing to accept that risk, and treat every action the agent takes as your own responsibility.

3. Accounts

4. Credit and billing

Please note that tasks driving a graphical interface cost considerably more than text-only ones: every step sends a screenshot to the model, so a long multi-step task can run to several dollars. Keep an eye on your balance before starting one.

5. What you must not use the Service for

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, without prior notice.

6. Third-party model providers

Model capability reaches the Service through the APIs of Anthropic, OpenAI and OpenRouter. Your instructions, conversation content and screenshots are sent to those providers so that a response can be generated. Their availability, changes and outages are outside our control.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and the accuracy of anything it produces.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the Service, including lost data, business interruption or lost profits. In any event our total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may terminate the Service if you break these terms. Where we end it ourselves and you have not broken these terms, unused paid credit is handled under the Refund Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated; the date at the top of this page changes when they are. We will email you about significant changes. Continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept them.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong SAR.
